Tasklemon respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Copyright Policy

Tasklemon respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. It is our policy to respond to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement and is accessible through our platform, please notify us as described below.

User-Generated Content

Tasklemon allows users to upload and share content within their CoreHub workspaces, including:

  • Project descriptions and documentation
  • Task details and requirements
  • Comments and collaboration messages
  • File attachments and images
  • Custom task types, statuses, and organizational content

Users are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to upload and share any content on our platform. Users must not upload content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.

Filing a DMCA Notice

If you believe that content on Tasklemon infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA notice that includes the following information:

Required Information

  • Identification of the copyrighted work: Describe the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, provide a representative list.
  • Identification of the infringing material: Provide sufficient information to locate the material, such as the URL, project name, task reference, or description of where the content appears on our platform.
  • Your contact information: Include your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Good faith statement: Include the following statement: "I have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law."
  • Accuracy statement: Include the following statement: "The information in this notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed."
  • Signature: Provide a physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

Our Response to DMCA Notices

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Review the notice to ensure it meets DMCA requirements
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
  • Notify the user who posted the content that we have removed or disabled access to the material
  • Provide the user with a copy of the DMCA notice
  • Take appropriate action against repeat infringers, including account termination

Please note that we may forward your DMCA notice, including your contact information, to the user who posted the content.

Filing a Counter-Notice

If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our Copyright Agent.

Required Counter-Notice Information

  • Identification of the removed material: Describe the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal (e.g., project name, task reference, URL).
  • Good faith statement: Include the following statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification."
  • Consent to jurisdiction: Include a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside the United States, for any judicial district in which Tasklemon may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original DMCA notice or an agent of that person.
  • Your contact information: Include your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  • Signature: Provide a physical or electronic signature.

Where to Send Your Counter-Notice

Send your counter-notice to our designated Copyright Agent at the same address provided above for DMCA notices.

Our Response to Counter-Notices

Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will:

  • Forward a copy of the counter-notice to the person who filed the original DMCA notice
  • Inform that person that we will restore the removed material in 10-14 business days unless they file a court action seeking an injunction against the alleged infringer
  • Restore the material if no court action is filed within the specified timeframe

Repeat Infringer Policy

In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, Tasklemon has adopted a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are deemed to be repeat infringers.

A repeat infringer is a user who has been notified of infringing activity multiple times or for whom we have removed or disabled access to infringing content multiple times. Account termination may result in loss of access to all CoreHub workspaces, projects, and data associated with the account.

Misrepresentations

Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing, or that material or activity was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, may be subject to liability for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees.

Please ensure that your DMCA notice or counter-notice is accurate and made in good faith. False claims may result in legal consequences.

User Responsibility

All users of Tasklemon are expected to respect intellectual property rights. When uploading content to our platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own the content or have the necessary permissions to use and share it
  • Your content does not infringe on the intellectual property rights of any third party
  • You will not upload copyrighted material without authorization from the copyright holder
  • You understand that violating copyright laws may result in account termination and legal action

CoreHub Owner Responsibilities

CoreHub owners are responsible for ensuring that team members within their workspace comply with copyright laws. CoreHub owners should:

  • Monitor content uploaded by team members for potential copyright violations
  • Establish internal policies regarding acceptable content and intellectual property use
  • Remove infringing content from their CoreHub when notified
  • Educate team members about copyright compliance

Limitations

Tasklemon is a platform that hosts user-generated content within isolated CoreHub workspaces. We do not actively monitor all content uploaded by users for potential copyright infringement. We rely on copyright holders to notify us of alleged infringements.

We act as an intermediary and are not responsible for content uploaded by users. However, we take copyright infringement seriously and will respond promptly to valid DMCA notices.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this DMCA Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through email or a notice on our platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
